Post-Doctoral Fellow

Headshot - Janae.jpeg

Dr. Baimonte is a postdoctoral fellow in clinical psychology who earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis. She completed her predoctoral internship at Butler University’s Counseling and Consultation Services and has also trained in private practice and university counseling center settings.

Dr. Baimonte provides individual therapy to young adults and adults, using an integrative approach grounded in person-centered, psychodynamic, interpersonal, and Internal Family
Systems (IFS) work. She also has experience with evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment
Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Her therapeutic style is rooted in warmth, authenticity, and collaboration. She believes that a strong relationship with a therapist can be a powerful part of healing, and she strives to create a space where clients feel seen, understood, and accepted, never pressured to change but supported in growing on their own
terms. She has a particular passion for working with trauma survivors, especially those with histories of sexual trauma, as well as individuals navigating anxiety, identity development, and life
transitions. She adapts her style to meet each client where they are, always honoring their unique strengths and needs.

In addition to therapy, Dr. Baimonte conducts comprehensive psychological assessments across the lifespan, with a focus on autism, ADHD, and diagnostic clarification. She knows the testing
process can sometimes feel overwhelming or drawn out, so she prioritizes transparency and a timely turnaround. Her goal is to make the process approachable and collaborative, and maybe
even a little fun when it fits. She loves the detective work of testing and sees early identification and diagnostic clarity as key to getting people the support and resources they deserve. Her
feedback sessions are designed to be clear and useful, helping clients walk away with both insight and practical next steps.

Outside of work, Dr. Baimonte enjoys spending time with her two beloved cats, Winnie and Phoebe, and her recently adopted corn snake, Serafina. She also loves working out, reading, and
connecting with family and friends, and is always on the lookout for new hobbies and small joys.
