Clinical Intern

Sarah has a passion for working with children, adolescents, and young adults with a variety of concerns. She has a background in early childhood education with a soft spot for the needs of children. Clinical concerns commonly addressed by Sarah include Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Autism, Eating Disorders, OCD, Self-Esteem concerns, behavioral concerns, and parenting assistance, among others.
Therapeutically, Sarah utilizes a person-centered approach and aims to use creative interventions. She enjoys a variety of eclectic approaches including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness Based Approaches, and Play Therapy. In addition, she strives to provide a safe space where each person feels seen, heard, and understood. Sarah is currently working towards her Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Benedictine University.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys practicing yoga and pilates, as well as spending time with family and friends.
