Dr. Hauk enjoys working with children, teens, and adults. She strives to build a trusting, collaborative relationship with her clients and believes that relationship is the foundation for healthy and lasting change. Dr. Hauk works to help each client uncover the strengths and resources that will enable them to approach life’s challenges with a stronger sense of self-worth. She specializes in working with clients experiencing overwhelming stress or anxiety; whether as a result of family conflict, academic or learning challenges, domestic violence, grief and loss, PTSD, or other circumstances. Clients will benefit from Dr. Hauk's high level of clinical skill and her commitment to creating a safe and understanding environment. Ultimately, Dr. Hauk hopes clients leave therapy with the skills to
advocate for themselves, face challenges, and establish and maintain satisfying relationships. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to all clients and will work with psychiatrists, medical providers, school staff, etc. as needed.
Dr. Hauk completed both her Masters and Doctorate at the Adler School of Professional Psychology (now Adler University). She is certified as a Partner Abuse Intervention Program facilitator. She is also certified to work with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Dr. Hauk works in a volunteer capacity with the American Cancer Society and the Community Crisis Center. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, party planning and craft projects, board games, and escape rooms.
