Matt Okigawa is a clinician obtaining his Master of Social Work degree from Aurora University. Matt obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice from Aurora University. Prior to pursuing social work, Matt spent 5 years working as a law enforcement officer.

Matt’s experiences working in law enforcement have led him to find his passion for helping those in the first responder community. Matt has a desire to help others, and has a passion for
working with first responders, veterans, and their families. Matt has a warm and friendly approach, utilizing various clinical interventions, but above all working to create a safe space for
his clients and help them in their particular journey.

In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and their dogs outdoors, woodworking, and practicing Judo.
